Sport Psychology For Rugby League & Union
Whether you play league or union, you understand rugby is a demanding sport. It could be argued one where what happens off the pitch is just as important as what happens on the pitch. Over a season, a rugby player will spend a small fraction of their time on the pitch – the remaining time is where champions are made!
Training your mental skill is similar to how you train your physical skills. You didn’t master passing and tackling technique, or breakdown skills overnight – so why would you master your self-belief, grit and mental preparation?
To fulfil your potential as a rugby player, you must understand this requires a combination of skill x effort. We believe our role is to support you to sharpen your mental skills and maximise your time off the field – to perform at your best on the field!
“The battle is with no one other than with your own mind, and I believe it is one that you have to consistently win if you want to achieve great things”
