Sport psychology for mma
MMA is a unique sport, one where arguably the training and preparation is equally if not more important than a fight itself. A fighter who fights 4 times a year spends barely 1% of the year in the cage!
Training your mind is similar to how you train physical skills. You didn’t develop an electric switch kick or double leg overnight – so why would you expect to develop grit or self-belief?
It is important to understand that to fulfil your potential requires a combination of skill x effort. We believe our role is to support you to develop your mental skills and maxmise the 99%.
The remaining 1%…
That’s down to you.
“Not matter how bad things get, eventually the sun is going to shine. If you keep at it, pursuing your goals, good things happen to decent people… everyone deals with adversity, it’s how you bounce back!”
– Daniel Cormier
(Former UFC Light Heavyweight & Heavyweight Champion)
